We have had a really busy year at Maxwell Adam, supplying, installing and servicing commercial laundry equipment.
As confirmation of our rapid growth in 2015, we moved offices in June, so that our headquarters included a warehouse which enabled us to stock a bigger range of commercial and industrial laundry products – everything from washing machines and tumble dryers to detergent.
Our new site in south London gives us easier access to the capital and to all areas of the South East, from Kent and the south coast in Sussex and Hampshire, to places such as Oxfordshire and Berkshire and all places in between.
As an official distributor for manufacturers Electrolux, we are delighted to work with them on all markets where commercial laundry can be used, such as dairy farming. Combining reusable udder wipes and commercial laundry machines, this took uses of commercial laundry equipment past workwear, which spans many industries.
We have installed equipment at dozens of boarding schools, five during October alone, either side and during half-term, and many care homes.
As well as boarding schools, care homes and housing associations – which are our most regular markets – we have installed new machines in usual places such as LegoLand Windsor, or provided solutions which might seem unusual to some, including supplying a heat pump technology in a basementof a hotel.
On some installations, our team have had to struggle along narrow, long corridors with commercial equipment weighing 750kg to reach the laundry space. At other times, like marathon runners, we “hit the wall”. Well, we had to take some walls out and put them back again as it was the only way into the laundry area.
We offer computer aided design as part of our quote on new installations and we can even build a whole laundry space, not just carry out the installation of everything from industrial irons to hood type dishwashers.
At the end of the year, we find ourselves recruiting for an experience installer, demonstrating how much we have grown in 2015.
